He learns that Aarohi is working in a bar again and that Vivek had ignored her calls without informing him. рџ¦В After recovering from his injuries, Rahul vows to search for Aarohi. After two months of fruitlessly attempting to contact Rahul, a broken Aarohi is forced to sing in bars again because of her family problems. When Aarohi attempts to contact Rahul again, Vivek ignores the calls. His friend and manager Vivek says that news of RahulвЂ™s accident should not be leaked to the media, and instead publicizes a false story that Rahul has left the country to participate in stage shows. When Aarohi calls Rahul, he is attacked and injured by some unknown people, and is unable to receive her call. (very sweet!!)ДЄarohi leaves her job and returns toВ MumbaiВ with Rahul, who convinces record producer SaigalВ to meet her.

He went to AarohiвЂ™s house to persuade her. Impressed by her simplicity and voice, Rahul promises to transform her into a singing sensation, and asks her to never perform again in bars. Noticing Aarohi looking at a photograph ofВ Lata Mangeshkar, he assumes that she wants to become a singer. At the bar, Aarohi sing the same song, but in a very sweet, perfect and simple way. On his way to the bar, he nearly hit a girl then he meets Aarohi ( Shraddha Kapoor), a bar singer who idolizes Rahul. Oh gosh!!! вЂ“ watch it in YoutubeВ )ДЄfter nearly completing a song, he is unexpectedly interrupted by Aryan (I HATE HIM)В during his performance, Rahul fights him, stops his performance, and drives to a local bar. ( This is where my favorite song started. A lil bit of flaws with the new main actress and actor, but the songs and plot really rose to the occasion! The film opens by showing a large crowd waiting for Rahul Jaykar ( Aditya Roy Kapoor)В вЂ“ a successful musician whose career is waning because of hisВ alcohol addictionВ вЂ“ to perform at a stage show inВ Goa. If I enjoy a movie, I buy it for my collection anyway.Hye all!! Its been a while I did not post anything.

If a movie isnвЂ™t on one of those three, I donвЂ™t feel too guilty watching it on Einthusan. I pay for Netflix, Spuul and Eros Now every month. Now THAT is a talent that you would want to share with the world! They should have got someone like Neeti Mohan, who absolutely knocked my socks off with her performance of Dhadaam Dhadaam in Bombay Velvet. She sounded nice and all, but to really buy into the story, she should have had a much stronger voice. YouвЂ™re absolutely right about the female singing voice in Aashiqui 2. I should probably try to have a look at that version of the story. My Dad is a huge Kristofferson fan, though, so I did listen to the soundtrack album many times as a child (there are some fantastic songs on there). IвЂ™m ashamed to say that I havenвЂ™t seen any of the versions of A Star is Born. I just watched this the other night as well. And itвЂ™s noble to kill yourself rather than go to rehab or accept your fatherвЂ™s help because even though you didnвЂ™t marry the poor girl, sheвЂ™s ready to give up her career for you? If youвЂ™re going to copy the entire plot of A Star Is Born, then I guess you have to end it that way, but it could have been portrayed as more dark and desperate rather than noble and misguided. And sorry for the spoilers, but gee, alcoholism canвЂ™t be solved by love alone.

This is not 1954! Surely, her character could have had a little more spine in this day and age or even some character development. I wanted to shake some sense into Shraddha in this movie. Your boyfriend, who never even mentions marriage and is fine living with you and ultimately off your earnings, goes into drunken rages and pushes you to the ground, and you can just hug him even tighter and it will all be okay? Blech. Shraddha remains a naive ingenue to the end, convinced that she can solve his addiction just by taking him away to the mountains and giving him a nice shave outside to get him clean. You can tell Aditya is a real alcoholic because he drinks straight from big bottles! The addiction storyline here is treated so ridiculously. So, from the get go, IвЂ™m not buying Shraddha as this big talent, but the romance plot in the first half is nice and it is refreshing to have a male Indian lead doing everything to support a womanвЂ™s career. Kris Kristofferson was well cast, because while he is a talent, heвЂ™s not the legendary BARBRA.

When I was growing up, you could not escape Barbra StreisandвЂ™s Evergreen from the 1976 film.
